Passwords & expiration

Add guardrails to links that need them, right in the editor.

Password protection

Set a Password on the General tab. Visitors see a gate and must enter it before they're redirected. Good for gated content and internal shares. To remove it later, clear the field (there's a Remove password action when editing).

The password is stored hashed - we never keep it in plain text.

Expiration

Set an Expiration date and time. After it passes:

• If you set an Expired fallback URL (Advanced tab), clicks go there.
• Otherwise, clicks land on a "link not found" page.

Great for time-boxed campaigns, limited offers, and event links.
