Common questions

What is pinr?
pinr is a link shortener that turns long URLs into short pinr.to/slug links. Every link comes with a QR code, real-time click analytics, and powerful redirect rules - so the links you share build your brand instead of a generic shortener's.
Is pinr free?
Yes. pinr is free during beta - you can create short links, generate QR codes, and track clicks without paying. Paid Pro and Business tiers will arrive later for advanced targeting, team features, and custom domains.
Can I choose my own slug?
Absolutely. Let pinr generate a short random slug, or set your own - for example pinr.to/launch or pinr.to/spring-sale - so your links stay readable and on-brand.
What redirect rules does pinr support?
You can route a single link by country, device, or referrer, set an expiration date, protect it with a password, add deep links for iOS and Android, and optionally cloak the destination. One short link can behave differently for every visitor.
Can I track clicks in real time?
Yes. Every click is recorded and shown in your dashboard with breakdowns by country, device, and referrer. Analytics update in real time and raw IPs are never stored - visitors are counted with a privacy-safe daily hash.
Do links come with QR codes?
Every short link has a downloadable QR code out of the box. Print it, drop it into a slide, or add it to packaging - scans are tracked alongside your regular clicks.
Can my whole team use one account?
Yes. Team workspaces let you invite teammates, assign owner, editor, and viewer roles, and organize links with shared tags and folders. Everyone works from the same set of branded links.
